To the sun and the moon

Of all the things upon heaven and earth
There could never be any so fine
It’s a wonder to me that with you in the world
That the sun and the moon can still shine

For a little cloud told me
That they are in awe
Of how you shine brighter than them
And comparing their glow with the brilliance of you
Is comparing a rock to a gem

To the sun and the moon, I can only say this
That I know they must do as they do
By try as they might, each day and each night
They will never shine brighter than you
