In the night
As I gaze at the heavens
I see many stars
But one shines much brighter than all the rest
It captures my dreams
And owns all my wishes
As I admire it from so far away
How long has it taken for its light to find me?
At least a hundred lifetimes
I treasure each moment
That its light shines upon me
And I will look for it each night
Until I am in heaven
When finally I can reach out and touch it
